In memory of Anita
On 21 August 2023, long-time Zoos SA team member Anita Oliver sadly passed away.
Anita has been a very much loved and respected member of the team. Anita will be remembered fondly for her love of the organisation, its staff and volunteers and of course the animals. Anita requested that she does not have a funeral, however she always wanted to see elephants at Monarto Safari Park
Her request is for friends and colleagues to make donations in her memory. The funds raised will enable the park to provide a ‘forever home’ for three very special elephants who will become founders of a South Australian herd and allow them to socialise and roam at the largest open-range safari park outside of Africa.
By raising $3000, Anita's name will sit proudly on the future Elephant habitat at Monarto Safari Park.
Anita will be very much missed and our thoughts go out to her husband Bill and daughters Kate & Anne.
